Alpkit Tetri Tent

Overview

I liked the look of this tent from the off with its geodesic style and wind defying properties.

I wanted a light two-man tent that I could wild camp with and would stand up to the elements.

This tent is quick to erect with three poles and the inner tent goes up with the outer making it quick to put up in inclement weather. You can get this tent up and ready to stake out the guylines within a few minutes.

The tent itself is a two-person, but is ideal for one person and their gear.

It has one entrance at the front with an easy-glide one handed zipper.

The ventilation is adequate with two vents in total which you can close if necessary. I did close the front one in a wet and windy moment to stop some rain flicking in through the vent.

Once zipped up, behind the inner door you have another mesh vent at the top of the inner tent which is adjustable and some mesh at the bottom providing some additional ventilation.

This is a good tent for all-year-round use as it has a good flysheet which goes to the floor and doesn’t have too much mesh making it warmer inside. That said I think in hotter temperatures you may want to open the front door or even possibly just use the fly on its own with a bivvy bag and no inner tent.

The tent comes with a porch mat, which is a useful addition and the pegs are of a nice quality and a candy cane shape.

Poles also have a good quality feel to them and the guylines are reflective which will help prevent you from tripping over them at night.

You can sit up in the front, but not in the porch. The fly has a 2000hh waterproofness and is a breathable 190T polyester ripstop material. Poles are alloy 7001 T6 And has YKK zips.

It’s made in Britain and retails for £159.99, but they do have deals on occasionally. This tent feels like it will last a good time and is durable. I would have no concerns about taking this on a long motorcycle tour.

凭借良好的评论和良好的客户服务,我相信这是值得一看的。
